Cute Pirate Birthday Party Table Decorations to Print
Did you know that September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day? The fun day started in 1995 when a group of 3 guys playing racquetball slung insults and encouragements to each other in pirate lingo. For many years, they just celebrated among themselves, talking like pirates every September 19. But somehow they got in touch with the Pulitzer Prize winning writer and columnist Dave Barry, who wrote about the day 10 years ago in 2002. And the rest, they say, is history of course! My favorite bit of pirate fun is changing the language settings on Facebook from “English (US) to English (Pirate)”. If you’ve never done this before, you are in for a treat!
