The annual Cherry Blossom Festival is happening right now in Washington, DC. It is a springtime event that celebrates the gift of the cherry blossom trees and their symbol of enduring friendship between the citizens of Japan and the United States. Actually, technically it is over 90 events over several weeks, and held all over our nation’s capital. I’ve never been there for it, but would love to. I’m a big fan of Japanese art and style, and I even have a cherry blossom wall mural in my office.
These coloring pages would be a great Cherry Blossom Festival activity no matter where you live this spring!
