Printable Crafts: Masquerade Masks

On Animal Jr., our animal masks are incredibly popular. So we thought we should make some cool printable masks for Fantasy Jr., too! These masquerade masks are in full color and are best printed on card stock. You can either punch holes and wear the masks with string, or tape them to a straw or dowel to hold up to your eyes.

This printable craft would also make great and easy Mardi Gras masks! Our friends at Printables4Kids has a cute Mardi Gras coloring page, too.

I think it’s because Christmas is right around the corner, and there’s something inherently comforting about the idea of reading stories next to a warm fire. Paper Dolls to Print

I have wanted to create a set of paper dolls ever since I was working on our Victorian doll coloring pages a few weeks ago. While I am all about vintage, I found that there aren’t a lot of free paper dolls out there with a modern sense of fashion. Basically, most of them looked, well, frumpy, if you ask me. *grin*

So I’ve declared Fantasy Jr. a NO FRUMP zone, so all you’ll find both below and in the future will either be vintage, historical, or hip. If I wouldn’t wear it, I wouldn’t want to make a paper doll wear it, either!

I found a free craft pattern so adorable and perfect for Fantasy Jr. today that I just had to post it. These felt gnomes are as sweet as can be!

Free Folk Art Craft Pattern from Wee Folk Art

Wee Folk Art has the free craft pattern to download in both a spring and fall theme. I’d LOVE to see a Christmas pattern from them, these are just precious! Although these crafts are a little advanced for small children, tweens and teens could totally make these and they would be awesome gifts to give as well.
